The Atiku Bagudu Grassroots Network for Tinubu 2027 has formally welcomed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the official flag-off of the President’s 2027 re-election campaign in Kaduna.
The group, in a statement issued on Thursday, described the Kaduna launch as a defining moment for consolidating the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda and deepening public understanding of the economic reforms being implemented by the Tinubu administration.
According to the network, the Kaduna flag-off goes beyond ceremonial politics. It represents a critical opportunity to engage Nigerians directly on the steady progress recorded in economic stabilisation, fiscal discipline, and national planning under the current administration.
The statement, which was signed by the National Coordinator of the group, Hon. Ali Oriri, said members of the network are not just political supporters, but firm believers in the economic direction of the Tinubu government and the technocratic leadership driving it.
“We heartily welcome President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC National Chairman, members of the Presidential Campaign Council and all party leaders to the formal launch of the 2027 campaign. This moment allows us to renew our collective commitment to the economic reforms that are gradually stabilising our nation,” Hon. Oriri said.
He added: “Our members are not merely political supporters. We are people who believe in the economic reforms of the Tinubu administration and the awesome work that is being carried out by the Honourable Minister in the area of national planning and economic development. We see the results in improved coordination, better budgeting processes and a clearer path to sustainable growth.”
The Atiku Bagudu Grassroots Network for Tinubu 2027 is a nationwide support platform with structures across the 36 states and the FCT. The group said its conviction is rooted in what it described as the transformative impact of the administration’s reforms, particularly in the area of economic planning and budget implementation.
The network singled out the Honourable Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, for commendation, noting that his leadership has provided critical technical direction for the effective implementation of the President’s reform agenda.
Members of the group stated that Bagudu’s emphasis on evidence-based planning, fiscal discipline, prudent resource allocation and inclusive development has continued to inspire confidence among citizens who desire tangible progress.
“Senator Atiku Bagudu has demonstrated uncommon commitment to national planning and economic development. His steady hand in coordinating budgets and aligning them with the President’s vision gives us the confidence to campaign vigorously for the continuity of this administration,” Hon. Oriri stated.
He explained further: “We believe that the reforms currently underway in fiscal management, revenue mobilisation and strategic planning must be sustained. That is why our network is fully prepared to take the message of progress and responsible governance to every community where we have presence.”
According to the statement, Bagudu’s ministry has become central to translating the Renewed Hope Agenda into measurable outcomes through improved budget coordination, medium-term planning frameworks, and alignment of capital expenditure with national priorities. The network said this approach has helped to restore credibility to public finance management.
The group also disclosed that it has fully activated its state, local government, and ward structures across the country to begin massive grassroots education on the benefits of the ongoing reforms. It said its campaign strategy will focus on peaceful mobilisation, issue-based engagement, and door-to-door explanation of government policies.
The network commended the Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, and other members of the council for what it described as orderly and professional preparations leading to the Kaduna flag-off. It expressed optimism that the campaign will remain focused on verifiable economic achievements and practical benefits reaching ordinary Nigerians.

Let us explain the reforms, defend the progress and work tirelessly so that Nigerians will once again entrust President Bola Ahmed Tinubu with the mandate to complete the task of national renewal.”
The group pledged to sustain its grassroots engagement throughout the campaign period, with emphasis on voter education, mass mobilisation, and peaceful participation as the pillars of its support for President Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
