The Managing Director/CEO of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA), Engr. Chukwuemeka Agbasi, has reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to adopting modern equipment and innovative technology to improve road maintenance across the country.
Agbasi stated this when he received the Managing Director of HOWO Equipment Nigeria Limited, Mr. Jason Huang, and the company’s National Sales Manager, Mr. Adeola Adeokun, during a courtesy visit to FERMA headquarters in Abuja.
According to him, the meeting focused on contemporary road maintenance equipment, technology, and practical solutions that can strengthen FERMA’s operations and enhance efficiency across its field network nationwide.
“We exchanged views on contemporary road maintenance equipment, technology and practical solutions that can strengthen FERMA’s road maintenance operations and improve efficiency across our field network,” Agbasi said.
He noted that he values engagements that bring industry expertise and innovation closer to the practical demands of maintaining federal road assets.

The visit is part of ongoing efforts under the Renewed FERMA initiative to reposition the agency for more effective and sustainable road maintenance delivery.
